WANDERING & ACTIVITY MONITORING

Activity Monitoring

Activity Monitoring is a Connected Care service. These solutions use technology in the home combined with personal support at a distance to enable a client to remain independent for as long as possible.

Simply by pairing the Vi+ unit with strategically placed magnetic switches or floor pressure mats in the home, a client's regular activity can be monitored. The unit will know if the routine activity has been broken, which may indicate that the client has had an accident, is unwell, or needs assistance. The activity monitor will automatically generate a call to a caregiver or the Response Center.

Nighttime Monitoring

Nighttime Monitoring uses a bed sensor that is placed beneath the client’s mattress to detect when the client is in or out of bed. Nighttime Monitoring works with the Vi+ and is configured with the client’s routine wake and sleep schedule. If the client gets up in the night and does not return within their normal pre-configured time, it will automatically generate a call to a caregiver or the Response Center.
